Fourth & Sycamore launched one year ago today. In the last twelve months, we’ve published dozens of book reviews for poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art books. We’ve interviewed authors and various book heroes. We’ve published original poetry, short fiction, and essays. We’ve written about local history and classic movies. It’s been an exciting year.
Fourth & Sycamore is the literary journal of Greenville Public Library in west central Ohio. We’re a relatively small library, but we believe in a big way in this journal and its role in elevating the local conversation about literature and contributing to the national conversation. We’re very proud of what we do.
If you’re a writer, we’d love to hear your voice on this journal. Read our writing guidelines for general submissions, or consider querying us about writing book reviews. We are also listed on Duotrope and The Grinder.
We have a lot of big plans for Fourth & Sycamore in the next year and beyond, so keep coming back to read more and see what’s ahead. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates and links. And of course, we’d love if you could subscribe to this site if you haven’t already.
If you’re reading this, thank you. We are grateful for every reader we have on this crowded web. We’re excited you’re here, and we’re excited for the year ahead. Thanks for reading.
