Double-click the text field so the drop–down box of autofill options appears. Hold your mouse over the option that you want to remove from autofill so that it’s highlighted. Don’t click on it. Press the delete key on your keyboard.
How do I clear my suggestion history?
Press ⇧ Shift + Delete (Windows) or Fn + ⇧ Shift + Del (Mac). This removes the suggestion from your search history, which means Chrome will no longer suggest it.
How do I delete autofill urls in Chrome?
To delete a single autosuggested URL, start typing the address as you normally would—Google.com in my example. Then, when the unwanted autocomplete suggestion appears, use your keyboard’s arrow keys to highlight the suggestion in the drop-down menu below the address bar. Finally, press Shift + Delete and poof!
How do I delete autofill suggestions in Chrome?
If you want to just delete specific autofill entries:
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Settings.
- Click “Show advanced settings” and find the “Passwords and forms” section.
- Select Manage Autofill settings.
- In the dialog that appears, select the entry you’d like to delete from the list.
